Adds a sidebar widget to display Twitter updates using the more reliable Google Ajax API.
David Hollander used the excellent Twitter Widget app by Sean Spalding as a base and the Google Ajax concept by Emmett Connolly.
Tips: You can’t use your twitter username. You must use your numeric user ID. Get your User ID Here: http://www.idfromuser.com
Template Tag: If you don’t want to use the Sidebar Widget , It was wrapped in a function. Here’s what you put in your template tag:
<?php if (function_exists(reliabletwitter)) reliabletwitter($accountid, $show, $title); ?>
Of course it actually looks like this when you are done:
<?php if (function_exists(reliabletwitter)) reliabletwitter(123456, 3, “Twitter Updates”); ?>
Bugs: The only bug found is that Google seems to be limiting the return to 4 posts right now. Not sure why, but maybe it can be gotten around to solving that someday. If someone wants to take a look at that, it will be wonderful.
