Both of these contemporary clocks for the desk come from Nava Design and use numbers to make an artistic statement. Whether we choose to believe it or not, numbers always have us "coming and going" whether it's trying to catch a flight, rush home to see the kids or figure out when the work day ends. The first model pictured shows the numbers all jumbled on the bottom and is fittingly called the "Jetlag Clock". The other version is called "Time Square Mini Numeri". Each clock retails for $120 HERE.

More and more homes these days have a color theme. We would like to show you Maison NW, a work studio located in Saint-Ouen, near Paris, but also a private colorful home. The huge workshop spreads over an area of 1,937 square feet and has three levels. Architect Nathalie Wolberg is the owner of this place which is said to carry “her own personality, own desires, passions, even pathological deficiencies”. We think the living space looks really cool and unusual. The approach is a modern one, and the lighting effects are quite spectacular. The stairs connecting the three floors are also unusual, some might say a bit dangerous, due to the fact that there is no hand-grab available. We absolutely love the net in the forth picture and we think it is an idea that could be applied at a large scale.-via Archinect

The John Deere rugs offers a snapshot of life in rural Scandinavia. Heavy machinery has long since replaced the labor of farm animals, leaving its trademark tracks in the grass and mud. The John Deere, on the other hand, imitates trampled turf (in green) or mud (in a brownish-grey). Made of New Zealand wool, the 5′ round rugs come from Norwegian designers Permafrost. These simple ideas are inspired by the Scandinavian winter, and are awesome for any contemporary interior. What’s your favorite ?

They differ in style and appearance, so you can choose the one that will suit your home best, or just get inspired to create the perfect Christmas tree. Plus, we offer some alternative ways to integrate “the tree element” into your home, without buying an actual tree.
